Pregnant persons are susceptible to significant complications following COVID-19, even death. However, worldwide COVID-19 vaccination coverage during pregnancy remains suboptimal. This study assessed the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines administered to pregnant persons and shared this evidence via an interactive online website.

The First Place in the Research Award was granted for the project titled “Evidence map and interactive real-time meta-analyses to present results of a living systematic review (LSR) of COVID-19 vaccines during pregnancy” at the XX Meeting of the Ibero-American Cochrane Network, held from June 5-7, 2024, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This accolade highlights significant technological innovation and contributions to public health, addressing the critical issue of COVID-19 with a focus on maternal health.
